Lancashire Farm Pre Wedding Shoot – Amy & Paul; We headed over to the beautiful village of Fence in East Lancashire one beautiful July evening to meet Amy & Paul for their pre wedding shoot. The sky was clearing as we approached, and tentatively drove our poor hard-tyred Mini down the rocky farm track to the house.
After a brew and a chat about wedding plans in their farm house, we headed off around the farm for the shoot. The sun was descending, and we wanted to wait for the perfect light to start the shoot. Paul in particular wasn’t sure what to expect from us at first. It’s not that often that you hire a photographer to follow you around for the day. Having a pre wedding shoot is the perfect opportunity to see how we work and that it’s really nothing to worry about. We also get to really know each other before the day, and have a bit of fun as well as making some pictures ahead of your wedding.
We started in the stables, as a beautiful shaft of sunlight streamed through the open doors. Their dog, Nell, joined us for the shoot as we worked our way round their various chickens, horses, and a gorgeous pig too! We wandered the fields together, looking for the most interesting light, and Amy and Paul really lost those initial nerves and forgot all about us being there.
We can’t wait for their wedding at The Shireburn Arms later this summer! Scroll down or watch the slideshow to see what we got up to on the farm xxx
