How far in advance of our wedding do we need to book you?
As soon as possible, especially if your wedding is in peak season (May-September) People tend to book us one or two years in advance of their wedding day.
Do we need to meet you before we book?
It’s not essential, as let’s face it, everyone has busy lives! But it would be great if you have opportunity, to get together for a drink and a chat and just generally get to know each other. You want to feel comfortable with the people that will be sharing your wedding day with you. We could also have a get together on Skype or FaceTime. (I sometimes prefer this method as I only need to get half dressed!)
Will you do a venue visit before our wedding day?
We no longer do venue visits as it always works out better to scout out locations on the day of your wedding. With conditions being so changeable and effecting the way the light looks in certain areas of the venue, some areas will look great one day, but not so great another. So we just gravitate towards what looks amazing on the day. We also find this pushes us creatively being in a brand new setting!
How do we book you?
You secure your date by paying the £300 booking fee, preferably payable by bank transfer, and by completing the agreement. Once we have both of those, the date is 100% yours! The rest of the balance is the payable 28 days prior to your wedding day.
I’m nervous about having my photograph taken – ahhh!
If this is you, we’d recommend having a pre-wedding shoot. All it is is us going for a stroll with you guys and our cameras. It’s great for us all getting to know each other, to get a bit of practice before the big day and to get some amazing photographs of you both before getting hitched. By the end of it, you will wonder what the fuss is about, I promise! Head over to the Pre-wedding Shoot Gallery page to see the kind of thing we do on a pre-wedding shoot.
Do both of you photograph our day?
Oh yes. We work together at every single wedding and both have our own unique style. With having two photographers, you will get two completely different perspectives of the day and no ‘moments’ will be missed.
How many photographs will we get?
This really varies depending on what’s going on on the day, but we tend to deliver around 400-600 for a full day wedding. We are very much quality over quantity peeps.
Do you edit the photographs?
Yes, we spend a lot of time and care going through the images and editing them individually, applying our signature style to them.
How will we receive our photographs?
We deliver your full resolution images in an online password protected gallery, a great way to share your images with friends and family.
Can we print our photographs from the online gallery?
You sure can! You have all printing rights so you can do what you like with them. We provide printed products such as individual prints, canvases and albums, so if you would like anything pricing up, just let us know.
Will we own the copyright of our wedding photographs?
You have the printing rights to the photographs, not the full copyright. We always ask if you get a request from one of your suppliers for images, to notify us so that we can send them the images directly. We require the images to be utilised in a certain way when used by a supplier.
When will we receive our photographs?
We say around 5-7 weeks, this sometimes varies during peak season. We always keep you in the loop with how long to expect your photographs in. If we think we need some extra time, we will inform you, as we don’t believe in rushing anything. It is important that your photographs are absolutely perfect, you’re going to have them forever after all!
Do we need to pay extra for travel?
All travel within mainland UK is included.
Do you require a hot meal on the day?
It’s not compulsory that you feed us, although after being on our feet for a good chunk of the day, a meal would be very much appreciated so that we can recharge our batteries!
Can you take the traditional photographs?
We sure can, sometimes the aunties, the mums, they tend to want this type of shot. But we recommend that you keep them to a maximum of 5 due to the amount of time it takes to do them. People would much rather be off having a drink and enjoying themselves with you guys than standing around bored!
