Clitheroe Tipi Wedding Photography – Chloe & Toby; It was Chloe’s dream to have a Tipi wedding, and this gorgeous pair certainly went all out to deliver an incredible, memorable, and personal day for all their family and friends to celebrate their wedding.
We started off the morning in Clitheroe, where the mania of bridal prep was reaching it’s peak. There was a full house, and endless fun, emotion, drinks and laughter. After a brief hello, I left Katie to the madness and headed over to Toby and the boys, getting ready at home just down the road.
We headed off in a vintage VW camper van to the ceremony, meeting guests arriving and waiting in anticipation for the bridal party. Chloe arrived in style, in a stunning, immaculate convertible beetle. After the ceremony, we all headed to our final destination, Billington.
An impressive Tipi awaited, and all the guests- us included, were treated to welcome drinks by the fabulous team at Beetle Juice. They also set up their converted VW camper bar inside the tipi which perfectly complemented the fun, relaxed country feel of the day. An antique-cabinet sweetie bar, flip-flops for dancing, and fairy lights galore. All this made this a beautifully elegant yet relaxed atmosphere from start to finish. The vintage china and linen napkins, hand-calligraphed place cards and test-tube-shot favours all added to the quirky, personal feel that showed off the hard work Chloe and Toby had put into preparing their wedding day.
Before the afternoon tea wedding breakfast began, the bridal party were introduced to applause into the room.
Speeches followed, and we enjoyed afternoon tea, an amazing array of delicious cakes, and then headed outside to enjoy the sunshine. There was beer pong as the band set up for the evening, and we took the opportunity in the fading light to take Chloe and Toby away for some much-needed alone time. We headed to the end of the field where the reception was held. Just far enough away for some fresh air, space to relax, and just enjoy a moment together as Mr & Mrs. We couldn’t resist using the tipi backdrop on the way back to the party as the sun descended below the clouds for one final portrait. And then it was time to party!
Chloe and Toby lead the party with their first dance, and then it was no-hold-barred fun until late into the night. We danced, we had a break for an incredible hog roast, and then we danced some more. It was incredible to be involved in your amazing day, and we can’t thank you enough xxx
